SUMMER CAMPS

Christian ‘summer camps’ provide a fantastic opportunity for children and young people to have a brilliant holiday, make new friends and explore how God can positively impact their lives today…all in one fun-filled, action packed, life-changing week!

The two camps below come with our recommendation, and would be a great opportunity for any teenagers who would like to get away for a week to meet new friends, have lots of fun, and to have the opportunity to grow more in their faith.

One more thing - there are bursaries available from both the camp and possibly from CCR itself - we don’t want money to be something that stops somebody from coming. If you’re at all concerned about that, then please speak to Mike or Lou or Chris (we’ll speak to the camp for you), or the attached brochures have an email you can ask if you want to speak to them directly.

If you have any questions about this, please do speak to Mike!

WOOLIE 4

17th-23rd August, ages 10-13

Woolie 4 is a great chance to get away for a few days, have lots of fun with others your age, and to really spend time thinking about who Jesus is, and how to engage with what he says for yourself. Mike went in 2019 and is hoping to return again in 2020 with any of you who’d like to join!

OSWESTRY

16th-23rd August, ages 14-18.

Oswestry is the sister camp to Woolie 4, for older teenagers. Mike was there in 2017 and 2018 as a helper and had a brilliant time. See if you can spot him in the video below!

OTHER HOLIDAYS

There is a huge range of other holidays available, for children and young people aged 8–18+ (see below for a list of websites).  And there are also great opportunities for those 16+ to serve as Junior leaders.  A number of church folk go on  fantastic camps already and we’d love all children and young people from CCR to be able to go on a Christian holiday. If you are interested in finding out more about summer camps please talk to Lou Bailey  or Mike Pasquale . If money is an issue, please do talk to Lou as bursaries are available.
