In recent months, many people in Redbourn have found Christianity Explored to be both enjoyable and a helpful way to think through what life is all about.

Christianity Explored is an informal 7-week course for people who would like to investigate Christianity. Focusing on one account of Jesus’ life, Mark’s gospel, it explores who Jesus is, why he is so important, why he died and what it means to follow him.

Each session lasts about two hours and includes a meal, some group discussion and watching a short DVD on the theme for that week. Each week is informal and relaxed. You won’t be asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and you can ask any questions you like. Or, if you prefer, you can just come along and listen.

Whether you have previous experience of Church, Christians and the Bible, or none at all, this course is for you. Everyone is welcome – from the most sympathetic Sunday schooler to the convinced atheist, and everyone in between!

Many have found this course to be an excellent tool in helping them to think about the big questions of life, and most have come to realise that cold ritualistic religion is a million miles from the person of Jesus and the difference he can make in our lives.

There are some short videos on the Christianity Explored Website that explain more about this course too.  Click here  to  watch them.
